ABOUT MATESKY LAW

A Different Law Firm

Matesky Law pairs high-end expertise with flexible representation options in order to provide legal counsel that best suits each client's particular needs.

At Matesky Law, you won’t find one-size-fits-all billing arrangements, big egos, or inflexible firm policies. Rather, you will find a law firm that strives to deliver the highest quality of legal representation in a manner that meets clients where they are. Sometimes this means flat-fee-for-service options. Sometimes this means contingent fee agreements. And, yes, sometimes this means payment on a billable hour basis.

In every case, whether representing start-ups, solo artists and inventors, or large multinational companies, Matesky Law’s first priority is to be the kind of law firm that makes clients want to come back to their lawyer.

Seriously.

Mike Matesky is an attorney and the founder of Matesky Law. Mike counsels clients regarding intellectual property protection and liability, contracts and licensing, online legal matters, and arts & entertainment issues. Mike has represented a diverse array of creative clients, from Fortune 100 technology titans to solo artists, developers, and inventors working out of garages and coffee shops. After practicing for years at an international "BigLaw" firm and Northwest intellectual property boutiques, Mike founded Matesky Law to more easily provide high-quality advice and representation on flexible terms that meet the needs of all clients.

Mike's legal philosophy is to provide clients with the highest-level of legal advice and advocacy, without the high-level ego and expenses that sometimes come with the territory.
